Download PDF TIE Books Form Three – All Subjects | Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE) is a public institution under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Its main responsibility is to translate education policies into curricula and learning materials to improve the quality of education at all levels, including pre-primary, primary, secondary, and teacher training colleges.
TIE was established in 1963 under Act No. 13 as the Institute of Education within the University of Dar es Salaam. In 1975, it became an independent institution under the Ministry of Education. Later, in 1987, it changed to the Institute of Curriculum Development, and in 1993 it was renamed TIE. In 2009, it gained status as a non-university higher learning institution regulated by the National Council for Technical Education.
