(a) Hardware tools Computers/laptops
These are used for data processing, internet access, and running various applications.
Smart phones and tablets: These are portable devices for communication and accessing digital content.
* Projectors and interactive whiteboards: These are used for presentations and collaborative learning in classrooms or meetings.
Printers and scanners: These are used for producing hard copies of digital documents and digitizing physical documents.
(b) Software tools
Word processors (for example: Microsoft Word and Google Docs): For writing or creating and editing documents.
Spreadsheets (for example: Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets): For data analysis, management and visualization. Presentation software (for example: PowerPoint and Google Slides): For creating visual presentations or slideshows.
Learning Management Systems (LMS) (for example: Moodle and Google Classroom): For accessing course materials and assignments. They are used for online learning and course management.
(c) Communication tools
Email (for example: Gmail, and Outlook): For formal/official communication and information sharing. Social media platforms/messaging platforms (for example: WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook and Slack): For group discussions, networking, and informal communication.
Video conferencing apps/tools (for example: Zoom and Microsoft Teams): For virtual classes (learning sessions), and meetings.
(d) Online resources/internet-based tools Search engines (for example: Google, Bing, Firefox and Opera Mini): For research or information retrieval.
Digital libraries (for example: JSTOR, and Project Gutenberg): For accessing academic resources. Cloud storage (for example: Google Drive, and Dropbox): For storing and sharing digital files.

A browser is a software that allows users to access and interact with information on the World Wide Web. It serves as a gateway to view, retrieve, and navigate websites and online content. Browsers interpret code (such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) to display text, images, videos, and interactive elements on websites in a user-friendly format.
